First Time Writer To Make Movie In Omaha, NE.
First time writer/director Bryant McCain is going to be shooting his first feature length film in Omaha, Nebraska. Known in the Tri-state area as "Bizzy B", DJ as well as program director for Hot 107.7, Bryant attended one of my seminars (hollywoodinnercircle.com) and was bitten by the hollywood bug...hard. He contacted me a short time after and had a list of questions about the business and what I thought he should do. He had shot a short film called "The Legend of Bloody Mary" that I found very interesting considering he shot it on his home video camera with a couple of friends. At that point I knew he had what it takes as far as "talent" is concerned, now we needed to know if he had all of the other components it takes to make his dream become a reality.
I knew he was serious and ready when he told me he sold his most prized possesion, HIS MOTORCYCLE! Even his wife was surprised, but he did it so he could buy the most awesome home computer on the planet, the G5 by Mac. Then he went out and bought the screenwriting software that I suggested as well as other learning materials.
A year and a half later, after countless phonecalls and emails between us, not only did Bryant hand me a finished script...it was actually pretty good. For a first time writer, I was impressed that he did everything I told him to do; from homework assignments at Blockbuster video to writing excercises and reading books. He did it all! He is truly a testimonial to what you can do in this business if you listen to someone who's been there and done that. I'm proud of Bizzy and look forward to being on set with him.
Oh yeah, I'm starring in his film along with several other very recognizable faces whom I will not disclose at this time. The project is also being produced through my production company, Blackwater Entertainment.
Look out Omaha, Alexander Payne is not the only one from Nebraska who can make a good movie. We'll also be casting several roles out of Omaha and the surrounding area.
Blackwater has many projects in many genres. We are constantly and consistantly entertaining private investors.

Very Inspirational!
Very flattering what you just said about me, I am thankful for the things that have started to happen for me. I have found out that it is true....if you put your mind to it by studying your craft and following through things WILL HAPPEN. I thank Randy and everyone at Black Water.
